Let mass of circular plate be =M
Mass per unit area =Mπ(28)2
Mass of part removed =Mπ(28)2×π(21)2=9M16
Mass of remaining part =7M16
Now, m1x1=m2x2

7M16×x=9M16×7
x=9 cm
The centre of mass of the remaining portion from the centre of plate is 9 cm.
