Given that: r=1000m,θ=450,μ=0.5,m=2000kg
We know that maximum safe velocity for a banked is given by :
v=rg(tanθ+μ)1μtanθ
hence on putting the given values, we get
v=1000×9.8×(tan45+0.5)10.5tan45
or v=172m/s
hence option A is correct
