The correct option is A 13
Total students are 40
If group contain 3 people then, =403=13 {1 remainder}
If group contain 4 people then, =404=10
If group contain 5 people then, =405=8
If we make group of only 3 people then there will be 13 groups but 1 person will be left so taking 1 people into the account we have to make 12 groups(3people) + 1 group(4people)
So the largest group that will be made from 40 students will be 12 group of 3 people and 1 group of 4 people
Hence the largest number of groups possible are 13
