  • Motion of your hands while running - Oscillatory motion (1 mark)
  • Motion of a horse pulling a cart on a straight road - Motion along a straight line (1 mark)

(b) Given:
Distance covered = 240 km
Time taken = 4 h (0.5 marks)

We know that speed is distance covered in unit time. (0.5 marks)

So,
Speed=DistanceTime=240 km4 h=60 km/h (1 mark)
