A classroom is $10m$ long, $6.4m$ broad and $5m$ height. If each student be given $1.6m^2$ of the floor area, how many students can be accommodated in the room? How many cubic metres of air would each student get?

Given $l=10m,b=6.4m,h=5m$

Area of floor total no. of students $\times$ Area occupied by each student

$l\times b=x\times 1.6$

$\frac{10\times 6.4}{1.6}=x$

$\therefore x=40$

Total no.of students $=40$.

Volume of classroom $=$ Area occupied in class room.

$lbh=$ Area occupied in classroom

$\left(10\right)\left(6.4\right)\left(5\right)=$ Air occupied by class

$320m^3=$ Air occupied by class.

$\Rightarrow$ Each will get $=\frac{320}{40}$

$=8m^3$
