Solution

Aluminium is more reactive than zinc and so placed above zinc in the reactivity series. Thus when aluminium foil is dipped in a zinc sulphate solution. It will displace zinc from ZnSO4 solution and form aluminum sulphate. The displaced Zinc metal which is silver grey in colour will be coated on aluminium.
3ZnSO4+2AlAl2(SO4)3+3Zn (grey deposite)
