Time interval indicated by incorrect clock

Time gained by incorrect clock in one hour
= + 1 minute = + 160 hour
Using the formula,
TruetimeintervalTimeintervalinincorrectclock
=11+hourgainedin1hourbyincorrectclock
Truetimeinterval5=11+160
Truetimeinterval=5×6061=45661
True time = 1 p.m. + 45661hrs.
= 5 p.m. + 5661 hrs. = 5 p.m. + 5661 ×60 min
= 55561 minutes past 5
