Highest frequency that can be heard,

fmax=20000 Hz

Fundamental frequency of closed organ pipe is given by

f0υ4L

where υ is the velocity of sound in it and L is the length of the pipe.Also, overtone frequencies are given by

f=(2n+1)v4L or f=(2n+1)f0

This means, fmax>f

So,

fmax>(2n+1)f0

2000>(2n+1)1500

2n+1<13.332n<13.331

2n<12.33 or n<6.16

or n=6 (integer number)

Total number of overtones that can be heard is 7.(0 to 6).
