The correct option is A ₹ 687.50
Selling price = ₹ 500
Loss suffered = 20%

Let C.P = x
S.P=C.P20% of C.P
500 = x(20100×x)

500 = x(15×x)

500 = xx5

500 =5x55

500×5 = 5xx

x = 25004

x = 625
C.P = 625
For a gain of 10%
S.P =C.P + 10% of C.P
S.P = 625+(10100×625)
S.P = 625+62.50= 687.50
