Problem: 2 Marks

Given:
Real depth $= h = 20 c m$

Refractive index $= n = \frac{4}{3}$

We know,
$n = \frac{R e a l d e p t h}{A p p a r e n t d e p t h}$

$\frac{4}{3} = \frac{20}{A p p a r e n t d e p t h}$

Therefore, Apparent depth $= 15 c m$
