Solution

A Coin is tossed : Sample space =[H,T]
A bag contains 3 red and 4 black balls. If the coin shows head, we draw a ball from the bag.
Sample space =3 red + 4 black balls.
If it shows tail, a dice is thrown
6=[1,2,3,4,5]
1). A throw of coin resulted in head =12
Probability of getting a head =12
A ball can be drawn from the bag., 3C1×4C17C1
=3×47
=127
2). A red ball is drawn when the coin shows head i.e, 3C17C1
=37.
Hence, solved.
