Let the no. trials in which tail was obtained be $x$.

$\therefore P\left(tail\right)$ =$\frac{x}{n}=\frac{x}{1000}$

$\therefore \frac{x}{1000}=\frac{3}{8}$

$\Rightarrow x=375$

$\therefore$ No. of trials in which head was obtained $=1000-375=625$
