Size of footing,
=1.5 m × 3 m
Depth of footing, Df = 1 m
γ = 18 kN/ m3
Nq = 24
C = 0
Water table is at a depth of 10 m (>1.5m) below the base of footing so it will not affect the bearing capacity.
Net ultimate bearing capacity for rectangular footing

qnu=(1+0.3BL) CNc+q(Nq1)+(10.2BL)(12BγNγ)

=18×1×23+(10.2×1.53)×(12×1.5×18×20

=657kN/m2
Safe bearing capacity,

=qnufactor of safety

qsafe=6573

=219kN/m2
Safe load = qsafe×Area of footing
=219×1.5×3
= 985.5 kN
