A company allowed successive discounts of $20 %$ , $5 %$ and $2 \frac{1}{2} %$ on its watches, if the $μ p$ of watches purchased was Rs. $75, 000$ , find the net SD.

$4 M P = R s .75000$
For $20 %$ discount,
$(S P)_{1} = 80 % \times R s .75, 000 = R s .60, 000$
For further $5 %$ discount,
$(S P)_{2} = 95 % \times R s .60, 000 = R s .57, 000$
For further $2.5 %$ discount,
$(S P)_{3} = 97.5 % \times R s .60, 000 = R s .55, 575$
$∴$ Net $S D = R s .75, 000 - R s .55575 = R s .19425$
