The correct option is D Half of the number contain no radioactivity
DNA replication is semi-conservative because each helix that is created contains, one strand from the helix from which it was copied. The replication of one helix results in two daughter helices, each of which contains one of the original parental helical strands. So, after two rounds of DNA replication, four daughter molecules are formed out of which two daughters contains non-radioactive DNA whereas, the other two contains one radioactive strand each.
So, the correct answer is option D.
