The characteristics of compound $Z$ shows that it is an ester which is formed by reaction of an alcohol with reaction of a carboxylic acid in presence of conc. $H_{2}S{O}_4$, further $X$ is formed by acidiflcation of $Y$. Hence, $Y$ should be an alcohol and $X$ a carboxylic acid. Hence, the reactions will be :
