Concave lens forms virtual image of a real object. Let object is placed at O and its image is formed at I.

Let image distance, v=x

Since, magnification,
m=vu=14
Therefore, object distance, u=4x

Then according to the question,
3x=10 cmx=103 cm

u=403 cm, v=103 cm

Applying lens formula :
1v1u=1f
1f=310+340f=4.4 cm
