R = -40 cm, f=R2=20 cm, m =5vu=hh=5 (m=vu=hh)vu=5 .....(i)
Using the mirror formula,
1v+1u=1f1+vu=vf1+5=v20v=120cmu=24cm [using (i)]
Distance between object and image = |v – u| = |(–120) – (–24)| = 96 cm
