A concave mirror produces three times magnified (enlarged) real image of an object placed at 10cm in front of it. Where is the image located?

Magnification (m)= -3 (negative because image is real)

Object distance (u)= -10cm (negative because it is on the left side of the mirror)

Step 2: Formula used

According to the magnification formula

m=-vu

Step 3: Solution

v=-(u)×(m)=-(-10)×(-3)=-30cm

Thus, the image is located 30cm in front of the mirror.
