Let, the object be placed at a distance x in front of the spherical surface,
i.e., u=x
Using, n2vn1u=n2n1R
From the given data we have,
32v43x=324310

v=1.5x0.017x+1.33

From the above expression we can conclude that v<0, that is image is always virtual in nature.
