Solution

The correct option is B

Polypetalous

A typical flower has four whorls of floral appendages borne on the stalk or thalamus. The outermost calyx, followed by corolla, androecium and the innermost gynoecium. Corolla is composed of petals. Petals are usually brightly coloured to attract insects for pollination. Corolla in flowers can either be free or fused. Polypetalous condition is having a corolla of free petals. When the petals are united, corolla is said to be gamopetalous. Epipetalous condition is one in which stamens are attached to the petals.
