A conducting sphere carrying charge +5C is surrounded by a spherical conducting shell. What is the magnitude of the net charge on the inner surface of the shell?

The charge inside the conducting shell is zero so inner surface of shell will get charge, -Q and the outer surface get same positive charge, +Q as shown in figure. Thus the net charge on the inner surface of the shell will be 5C.
