A conductor is given some positive charge. Whether it's potential is increased or decreased?

  1. A conductor is a substance which allows current to pass through them.
  2. When some charge is given to a body, the whole charge is distributed to the surface only.
  3. Inside of a conductor electric field is zero whereas the potential is same on the surface.
  4. So even if some positive charge is given to a conductor, the potential is the same that is the whole conductor is equipotential.
