A conical tent 10 m high and tha radius of its base is 24 m . Find the slant height of the rent. If the cost of $1m^2$ canvas is Rs70, find the cost of canvas required to make the tent.

Given,
height ( h) = 10m
base radius (r) = 24m
(1) slant hight = $\sqrt{heigh{t}^2+radiu{s}^2}=\sqrt{{10}^2+{24}^2}=26m$

(ii) surface area of canvas = surface area of cone = $\pi \times r\times slanthight$
= $\frac{22}{7}\times 24\times 26$

total cost of canvas for making = surface area of canvas × rate
$=\frac{22}{7}\times 24\times 26\times 70=Rs137280$
