Amount of milk conatined in first container
= 14 L 613 mL
= 14613 mL (1 L=1000 mL)

Amount of milk that second container contains more
= 2 L 675 mL
= 2675 mL (1 L=1000 mL)

Therefore, amount of milk in second container
= 14613 mL + 2675 mL
= 17288 mL
= 17000+288 mL
= 17 L 288 mL (1000 mL=1 L)

Hence, (a) is correct.
