The correct option is A 15 cm
Given f1=30cm

Since it is a converging lens f2 should be positive.

Equivalent lens is given as

1f=1f1+1f2

f=11f1+1f2=1x (say)

Where x=1f1+1f2=130+1f2

Since f2 is positive we can say that,

x>130=1x<30

Also f=1x

Hence f<30 and f is positive since it is a setup of converging lenses.

Hence the correct answer is option (A) 15cm.
