What will be the cost of 8kg of wheat?

Cost of 5kg of wheat = Rs 30.50

Applying unitary method, where firstly we find the value of one unit and then the value of required number of units.

$\therefore$ Cost of 1kg of wheat = $\frac{30.50}{5}$ = $\frac{3050}{500}$ = Rs 6.10

$\therefore$ Cost of 8kg of wheat = Rs. 6.10 $\times$ 8 = Rs 48.80

Thus, cost of 8kg wheat is Rs 48.80
