$13$ $L$ $750$ $ml$ $=13L+750ml$ $=B=$ volume of milk cow gave in Evening

(i) We have to add A and B

$14L+500ml$ $=A$ ...................(1)

$13L+750ml$ $=B$ ...................(2)

Now as per the question we have to add A and B

$A+B=[14$ $L$ $500$ $ml$] $+$ [$13$ $L$ $750$ $ml$]

add like terms

$A+B=[14$ $L$ $+$ $13$ $L$] $+$ [$500$ $ml$ $+$ $750$ $ml$]

$A+B=17$ $L$ $+$ $1250$ $ml$

$1250$ $ml=1L+250ml$

$\Rightarrow A+B=18$ $L$ $+$ $250$ $ml$
