Mean of the given sample =Total weight of the fruitsNumber of fruits=(0.8×1)+(1×2)+(1.2×3)+(2×2)+(2.4×2)1+2+3+2+2=0.8+2+3.6+4+4.810=15.210=1.52
MAD of the given sample =sum of all deviationsTotal number of fruits taken=|(0.81.52)×1|+(|11.52|×2)+(|1.21.52|×3)+(|21.52|×2)+(|2.41.52|)×21+2+3+2+2
=0.72+1.04+0.96+0.96+1.7610=5.4410=0.544
