Average $=230$

$\begin{array}{c}\therefore 230=\frac{180+257+x}{3}\\ \Rightarrow 690=437+x\\ \Rightarrow x=690-437\\ =253\end{array}$

$\therefore$ He should scored 253 runs in $3^{rd}$ match.
