Given,
Mean score of nine innings =58 runs
Total score of nine innings =58×9=522 runs.


Step 2: Find the required total score in Ten innings.
Required mean score of Ten innings runs
Required total score of ten innings =61×10=610 runs.


Step 3: Find the number of runs need to be score in tenth innings.
The number of runs to be score in tenth innings = Total score of Ten innings - Total score of nine innings

610-522

88 runs

Therefore, 88 runs are need to be score in tenth inning to raise the mean score to 61.
