A cross between a red flower bearing plant and a white flower bearing plant of Antirrhinum produced all plants having pink flowers. Work out a cross to explain how this is possible.

In a cross in Antirrhinum plants, between plants bearing red flowers (RR) and plants bearing white flowers (rr), the cross results in all pink flowered (Rr) plants in the F1 generation.
The allele for the red character is R and that for white is r in such plants and these plants show incomplete dominance, meaning that when both the R and the r allele are present together neither of them will show dominance over the other and the resulting phenotype will be pink. The cross can be shown as in the image.
