A cube is a three-dimensional figure as shown in fig. It has six faces and all of them are identical squares. The length of an edge of the cube is given by l. Find the formula from the total length of the edges of a cube.

Lets write the name of the vertices of the given cube,


Since, a cube has 12 equal edges.

[AB, BC, CD, DA, CE, EF, DF, EH, GH, GF, BH, AG]

It is given that,
Length of all each edge =l
Total length of all edges of cube=12×l=12l
