A cube is coloured orange on one face, pink on the opposite face, brown on one face and silver on a face adjacent to the brown face. The other two faces are left uncoloured. It is then cut into 125 smaller cubes of equal sizes. How many cubes are coloured silver on one face, orange or pink on another face and have four uncoloured faces?

The correct option is B 16
When a cube is cut into 125 cubes, each cube is of size 5 by 5.
So, the number of cubes with silver colour on one face and orange or pink colour on another are the cubes on the edges of orange and pink face. i.e. total of 10 cubes.
Now as 2 sides are uncoloured, there will be 6 cubes that will have 4 uncoloured faces
So ttoal number of cubes is 10+6=16
