The correct option is B 4
Three faces are painted red, 2 are yellow and one is green. As per the conditions given, the green face is adjacent with 2 red faces one on top and one on bottom. Therefore, there will be 4 cubes that will have one red and one green face. These 4 cubes will be the middle ones as the corner cubes will have another colour too.
