The correct option is B 2/3
Let B1 and B2 be the buoyancy due to liquid and water of density ρ1 and ρ2 respectively and x part of cube immersed in water. The density of the body(σ) is 700 kg/m3


Equating the forces acting onthe cube,
FB1+FB2=Mg(1)
where FB1 and FB2 are buoyant forces and Mg is weight of the body.
Since buoyant force, FB=ρVg
where V is the liquid of density ρ
Equation (1) can be written as,
ρ1(lx)l2g+ρ2xl2g=σl3g
Substituting the values of ρ1, ρ2 and σ, we get
700l700x+1000x=900l
x=23l
Hence 23rd part of cube is inside water.
