The correct option is B

384 cm2


Side of original cube = 4 cm.

Number of cubes of side 1 cm
=Volume of bigger cubeVolume of smaller cube
=4×4×41×1×1
=64

Now, surface area of one cube
= 6(side)2
= 6×(1)2
= 6×1
= 6 cm2

surface area of 64 cubes
=6×64 cm2
=384 cm2

Hence, total surface area of all the small cubes is 384 cm2.
