Volume of a cube of measure side (s) = 16 cm is
$V_2=(s{)}^3$
$=(16{)}^3$
$=16\times 16\times 16$
$=4096{\text{cm}}^3$
The difference between their volumes
$=V_2–V_1$
$=4096–3000$
$=1096{\text{cm}}^3$
