Given,
Length of parcel = 64 cm
Breadth of parcel = 8 cm
Height of parcel = 1 cm

The area of cardboard required = Total surface area (TSA) of the cuboid

TSA = 2(lb+lh+bh)
= 2[(64 × 8) + (64 × 1) + (8 × 1)]
= 1,168 cm2

Therefore, the area of cardboard required is 1,168 cm2.
