The correct option is B The wire is repelled from the loop
If we use fleming’s left hand rule to determine the direction of the magnetic field from the side of the rectangle which is nearer to the wire, we can see that the magnetic field will repel the wire. Since this force is greater than the force applied by the farther side of the loop on the wire, the net effect is that the loop repels the wire.
