A current I=5.0 A flows along a thin wire shaped as shown in Fig. The radius of a curved part of the wire is equal to R=120 mm, the angle 2φ=90. Find the magnetic induction of the field at the point O.

Magnetic induction due to the arc segment at O,
Barc=μ04πiR(2π2φ)
and magnetic induction due to the line segment at O,
Bline=μ04πiRcosφ[2sinφ]
So, total magnetic induction at O,
B0=Barc+Bline=μ02πiR[πφ+tanφ]=28μT
