Given:
i=1 A ; r=2 cm=0.02 m
n=1000 turns/m

Magnetic field inside the solenoid is,

B=μ0ni

Magnetic energy stored in each meter the solenoid is,

E=u×volume of solenoid of length 1 m

Here, u= energy density

E=(B22μ0)×πr2l=(μ0ni)22μ0×πr2l

Substituting the values,

E=(4π×107×103×1)22×4π×107×π×(2×102)2×1 [l=1 m]

E=7.9×104 J

Hence, (D) is the correct answer.
