A cyclic process is shown on a PV diagram. The working fluid is an ideal gas. Four points A,B,C and D are marked on the PV diagram and corresponding thermodynamic co-ordinates are given. Here, the P and V scales are so chosen that these cycles on PV diagram appear to be circular.

The correct option is A (12+π)P0V08
Here Expansion is done only in process DAB,
So,
WDAB =Area under curve DAB.
=Area of rectangle DGHB + Area of arc DAB,

=3P0V02 + π2P02V02

=3P0V02 + πP0V08

=(12+π)P0V08


Hence Option A os the right answer.
