A cyclist goes once a circular track of diameter 105 m in 5 mins. calculate his speed.

If a cyclist goes once round a circular track, the distance he covers is actually the circumference of the the circular path:

Circumference= 2πr

Given: Diameter(d)= 105 m
Radius(R)=d2=1052=52.5m

Circumference= 2×3.14×52.5
=329.7 ≈ 330 m
So,
Distance=330 m
Time=5 min=5×60=300 s

Speed=DistanceTime =330300=1.1ms
