A cyclist turns around a curve at 15 km/hr if he turns at double the speed the tendency to overturn is.

Solution

We know centrifugal force F=mv2r where v = velocity of the object, m= mass of the object and r = turning radius.
As the mass and turning radius does not change in this case we consider them as constant, thus we can say that
centrifugal forceFαv2
Now as per question if the velocity of the cyclist is doubled than its tendency to overturn will be increase by 4 times
Fα(2v)2α4v2
