Solution

We have,

Cylindrical bucket of diameter =28cm.

Then, radiusr=282=14cm.

Height of cylindrical bucket=14cm.

Now,

Volume of cylinder=πr2h

=π14×14×14

=143π

So,

Height of cone h=14cm.

Radius r=?

But according to given question,

Volume of cylinder=Volume of cone

143π=13πr2h

13πr2×14=π14×14×14

r2=14×14×3

r=143cm.

Now, Base area of cone=πr2

=227×14×14×3

=22×14×6

=1848cm2

Hence, this is the answer.
