This water was used to fill a cuboid having base dimensions 8cm x 10cm. After filling the cuboid, 6 cm of water still remained in the cylindrical bucket, find the height of the cuboidal box.

volume of cube = volume of water filled

Height of water used = 18 - 6 = 12 cm [as 6 cm remained after filling the cuboid]

Volume of water filled in the cuboid = 23 × 1200 = 800cm3

Volume of cuboid = l×b×h

h=800cm380

h=10cm
