Solution

Volume of cylindrical container=π×r2×h

where r=162=8cm and h=40cm

Volume of cylindrical container=π×82×40=2560×πcm3

Volume of ice-cream cone = Volume of cone + volume of hemisphere =π×r2×h3+2×π×r33

Here r=42=2cm and h=12cm

Volume of ice-cream cone =π×22×123+2×π×233

Volume of ice-cream cone =21.33×πcm3

Number of cones =Volume of cylindrical containerVolume of cone=2560×πcm321.33×πcm3=120

Hence number of cones =120
