For the cylindrical rod:
Radius = 2 in
Height = 5 in
Therefore, volume =πr2h
=π×22×5 cu in
=π×4×5 cu in
=20π cu in

For the solid cones:
Radius = 1 in
Height = 2 in

Therefore, volume of the cones
=13πr2h
=13π12×2 cu in
=2π3 cu in

Volume of cylinder
= Sum of volumes of cones formed

Hence, the number of the solid cones
=Volume of the cylindrical rodVolume of the solid cones
=20π2π3
=20×32
=10×3=30
