Solution

The correct option is D 50m2s2
Given

h=30.525
h=2.475
A1A2=0.1

V1= velocity of water from orifice.
V2= velocity of swrface of water
Acc. to continuity theorem

A1v1=A2v2
v1=10v2

Acc. to Bernouliis theorem

P0+ρgh+12ρv2L=P0+0+12ρv21
gh+12(v21100)=12v21

v21(99100)=2×10×2.475

v21=495099=50m2s2
